Day To Day Travel Planning

Day 1: Delhi

  • Fly from Australia & Arrive in Delhi.
  • Visit India Gate, Qutub Minar, and the Lotus Temple if time permits, or we will do it on Day 9.
  • Beneath the sparkling stars and the soft luminescence of the moon, we will come together for a grand feast (Dinner) and joyous celebration.
  • Overnight in Delhi Hotel.

Day 2: Agra

  • After breakfast, check out of the hotel and explore Delhi city and its environs, including Humayun's Tomb and Raj Ghat, if time permits.
  • Drive to Agra.
  • Visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. (UNESCO World Heritage Sites)
  • Explore Mehtab Bagh for a different view of the Taj Mahal.
  • In the evening Explore the bustling markets of Agra, such as the Sadar Bazaar and Kinari Bazar
  • Post-sunset, we will arrange a traditional Indian feast featuring Mughal cuisine in Agra.
  • Overnight in Agra Hotel.

Day 3: Agra

  • Explore Itimad-ud-Daulah, also known as the Baby Taj.
  • Visit the Agra Art Gallery to see some of the city's best art.
  • Take a boat ride on the Yamuna River either in the morning or in the evening (Optional)
  • Visit the local markets and try Agra's famous Petha (a sweet dish). 
  • Overnight in Agra Hotel.

Day 4: Agra to Bharatpur Via Fatehpur Sikri.

  • Drive to Bharatpur via Fatehpur Sikri 
  • Visit Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fatehpur Sikri, a deserted red sandstone city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, was built by Mughal emperor Akbar between 1571 and 1585. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a popular tourist destination, known for its stunning architecture and rich history. The city is home to a number of attractions, including the Jama Masjid, the Diwan-i-Khas, the Panch Mahal, Jodha Bai's Palace, Birbal Bhavan, and the Khwabgah. Fatehpur Sikri is a fascinating place to visit and offers a unique glimpse into the life and culture of the Mughal era.
  • Lohagarh Fort: This imposing fort was built by Maharaja Suraj Mal in the 18th century and is a fine example of Rajput architecture. The fort houses a museum that displays artifacts and exhibits related to the history of Bharatpur.
  • Bharatpur Palace: This palace is a fusion of Mughal and Rajput architectural styles and showcases the grandeur of the royal family of Bharatpur. The palace complex also includes a museum that displays artifacts, textiles, and manuscripts.
  • Ganga Mandir: This beautiful temple is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Ganga and is known for its intricate carvings and architecture.

Day 5: Bharatpur

  • Spend the day at Keoladeo Ghana National Park for bird watching and wildlife viewing. Keoladeo Ghana National Park: Also known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is a haven for birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts. The park is home to over 370 species of birds, including the rare Siberian crane, as well as various species of mammals and reptiles
  • Banke Bihari Temple: This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and is an important pilgrimage site for Hindus.
  • Deeg Palace: Located about 32 km from Bharatpur, Deeg Palace is a magnificent palace complex that was built by Maharaja Suraj Mal. The palace is known for its beautiful gardens, fountains, and pavilions.
  • In the evening, explore the local markets and try traditional Rajasthani cuisine.

Day 6: Jaipur

  • Drive to Jaipur.
  • Jantar Mantar: An astronomical observatory and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments.
  • Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds): A unique palace known for its high screen wall that allowed royal women to observe street festivals while remaining unseen from the outside.
  • Jaigarh Fort: A fort known for the world's largest cannon on wheels, the Jaivana.
  • Nahargarh Fort: A fort that offers panoramic views of the city of Jaipur.
  • Jal Mahal (Water Palace): A palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.

Day 7: Jaipur

  • Shop at Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar.

Day 9: Delhi

  • Drive back to Delhi.
  • Visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and Chandni Chowk.
  • Explore Akshardham Temple and Connaught Place.
  • As the evening twilight descends, we will come together to extend a warm adieu to our esteemed guest, accompanied by a scrumptious Dinner feast.
  • Overnight in Delhi Hotel.

Day 10: Delhi Departure

  • Depart from Delhi.

If time allows, you may do 

  1.  Shopping: Explore the bustling markets of Delhi, such as Dilli Haat, Chandni Chowk, and Sarojini Nagar, where you can buy handicrafts, textiles, jewelry, and more.
  2. Heritage Walks: Take a guided heritage walk to explore the city's historical sites and learn about its rich history.

This itinerary gives you a good mix of historical sites, cultural experiences, and natural beauty. Make sure to check the opening days and hours of each attraction, as some may be closed on certain days. Also, consider the travel time between cities when planning your day.
